Are You Purchasing the Right CBD in Southeast FL?

CBD Purchasing Guidelines in Southeast FL.

1. Has the CBD Been Tested by a 3rd Party Lab in Southeast FL?

When purchasing any CBD product make sure the product has been tested by a 3rd party laboratory. If the product has been tested, the lab report for the product will be available on the company's website.

Without a lab report, consumers have no way of confirming the ingredients in the product or if it is safe to use. It is ESPECIALLY important to look for a valid Certificate of Analysis (lab report) before you purchase any CBD product.

If the report is not available, do not purchase.

What to look for in the lab report?

Was the analysis performed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The ISO is the primary accreditation program for Cannabis analysis reporting**.**

Check lab approval dates.

A company should be responsible to its customers and consistently test their products for safety. While there are no regulations regarding how often CBD product should be tested. It is recommended to not use nor purchase CBD if the last lab report is older than 10 months.

Is the product free of contaminants?

During the analysis process the lab will test the CBD for any harmful contaminants such as heavy metals, microbial containments, mold, mildew, and foreign matter.

All products have either a "Pass" or "Failed" which is in the "STATUS" column. If product "FAILS" stay away.

Make sure the Cannabinoid content is consistent with the lab profile.

When assessing the CBD analysis report, make sure that the cannabinoid content listing on the label is consistent with the Cannabinoid profile.

2. What ingredients should I look for when purchasing CBD.

Look at the CBD ingredient list. If you see more than two or three ingredients stay clear of the product.

CBD absorption rates are significantly more effective when consumed with fats. It has been scientifically proven that mixing the CBD plant with coconut oil or olive oil give you a better effect.

Research has found that once CBD is absorbed, the molecules are stored in your body's fat. An increased amount of fat in the body will aid in the absorption and storage of CBD molecules.

3. Where was the Hemp cultivated?

The US is the best geographical location to cultivate hemp because of its nutrient-rich soil and superior cultivation standards.

Hemp should come from primary farmers located in Colorado, California or Kentucky.

4. What are the different types of CBD?

CBD Isolate is the purest form. CBD is extracted from the hemp plant and then isolated from the other cannabinoids that were present. The process results in a 99% purity of CBD extraction.

Full Spectrum CBD is extracted from the hemp plant along with other present cannabinoids including THC.

Broad Spectrum is a mix between CBD Isolate and Full Spectrum CBD. This is without the THC.

5. What is the correct dosage?

Here is a formula to follow:

(TOTAL CBD IN THE BOTTLE) ÷ (NUMBER OF MILLIETERS IN THE BOTTLE) = Mgs of CBD in a dropper

For example, if you have a 30ml CBD tincture that has 500 Mg of CBD:

500 ÷ 30 = 17 Mg of CBD per dropper.
